1960 Willys Wagon built for off roading, camping, rock crawling and other driving adventures. I’m sad to let her go but it’s time to let her go to someone new. She sits on her original frame and leafsprings with 35″ tires. Under the hood shes got a 302 small block V8 crate motor coupled to a Borg-Warner T-18 4-speed manual transmission and a Spicer 8-11 t-case. Included are many of her original parts, spare parts, a Warner winch mounted on a hitch, and a spare refurbished t-case. The engine has about 6000 miles on it and the interior was reupholstered about three years ago. The rear has a camping deck with storage underneath. She has a clean and clear title.

Don’t be afraid to make an offer on this unique gem!

57 Willys Wagon. GREAT FOR THE COLLECTOR $28K. Cash only.

You can still find many a ratty totally rusted out Willy Wagons around but very few of these left that’re in this good of a condition! It was non-running when I bought it, I’ve invested a lot into taking care to try and replace with all original. However with the exception, the owners before me dropped in a V8 327 short block and a 4 barrel carb.

Runs well. New radiator, new heavy duty lifetime shocks, kill switch, large heavy duty battery, new starter, new alternator and a period piece heater installed. Brand new rebuilt starter and alternator.

New horn (LOUD), new steering wheel and cap, new heavy duty polyurathene gas tank, new sending unit, new brakes and new brake lines, emergency brake, complete tune up and lube of course. Brand new high performance clutch ($1,500.), just rebuilt the transmission 06/02/2015. It’s a 4WD, 3 speed, t90 Transmission.

Also had a complete new wiring harness installed from head lights to tail lights with auto-on/off radiator fan ($2,500). The inside light even works. The lights are bright again!

Brand new safety glass windshield and new front passenger and driver side windows (incld fly out triangle windows) and one of the slider side windows ($1,000). 4 brand new (50k) tires. I do not know the mileage on this engine.

Lots of little stuff done to it as well: Interior dash 12 volt adapter added (for your cell phone charger), new interior light lens cover, etc. I also have the interior’s panels ready to snap in (once painted or upholstered). Headliner was cleaned and repainted and brand new carpet and padding. While I only drive it once a week for a couple miles, it would have no problem being a daily driver. No accidents. Free and clean title. Given a little more work (to which I just don’t have the time or money now) this Willys is about to be a real showpiece. To see better pictures click go to: www –DOT –aworkofmarc –DOT– com/willy.

I also have the 6 interior panel “blanks” ready to paint or upholster and install. Comes with an Extra front bumper, headlights and sockets. etc. Heck –I’ll even throw in the lit Christmas weath you see in the pic. Sorry. Dog stays with me! And YES! It does come with the bummper chrome brush bar as seen in the Christmas pic.

Turns a LOT of heads and grabs attention.

1961 Willys Wagon 4wd; Mostly Restored

This pretty Willys was completely rebuilt (new paint, interior, seats, wheels, tires, water pump, heater, window seals, electric windows, electric wipers, brakes, seat belts, wiring, shocks and motor) about 10 years ago. When the timing chain failed, it sat for 7 years, waiting for me to come along.
I bought it 3 years ago and did these improvements: New (plastic) fuel tank (with sending unit), fuel line, filters, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator (adjustable), timing chain and gears, gaskets (pan, main seals, manifolds, carb, and timing cover), rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt oil bath air cleaner, sliding window glass and track, glove box, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge sending unit, door panels, floor mats, and hood latches. Pertronix electronic ignition and “Flame Thrower” coil. All 12 volt. 226 “Super Hurricane” flathead six (high altitude version). T90 3-speed transmission (6 speeds with Overdrive). 4:27 differentials. Completely re-chromed grill, emblem, side strips and bumpers..

All lights (except dome), horn, turn signals and gauges work. Speedo works. Four wheel drive and Warn hubs work great. Overdrive quiet. Radiator (which looks like a replacement) tight (no leaks). New heater hoses. Heater/defrost work. Carpet interior. Vintage Willys wooden handle high-lift jack. Has original rear seats (not shown), and 60’s vintage front seats (one of the only non-original parts). LED upgrade to rear lights. Very little rust. No window cracks.

I’m looking for a more modern truck, to carry a pop-up camper, or a Sprinter Van (trades?). This wagon is fun to drive and attracts smiles everywhere. It really shines in the snow. Has original spare, with original hold-down bracket.

1957 Willy’s Overland Station Wagon 4×4. Has original L-6 “Superhurricane”engine. The generator has been changed to an an alternator, the radiator was changed, and the seats were changed. I do have the original seats which will be included with the vehicle. It also comes with a new set of rear leaf springs. I have a bunch of extra wheels for it but it needs tires. Engine was running when I parked it. It needs a fuel pump. Also needs master cylinder rebuilt. Left wind shield need is broken and so are the windows in both doors. Wood decking in good shape. Moderate rust on tailgate hinge area. No dents. Some of the trim is missing. Also missing hood hold down latches. Has a clear title. It is non-oped.

Got this on a trade a few years ago, this is a project that needs completion. Nice body mounted on an s10 frame with v6 engine. Floor boards have been raised so the body sits nice and low, not your traditional Willys but could make a very cool and unique hot rod.

Drove this 25 miles home from the original owner’s place @6 years ago and parked it to begin a much needed restoration. Needless to say… It hasn’t happened. This rare and very cool jeep deserves to be inside someone’s resto shop out of the weather. Needs TLC but is complete.

This 1947 Willys was partially restored by my brother. He modified a Chevy S10 frame to fit and put a v6 engine in it. He then drove it for about 10 years. In 2003 the engine quit and he parked it in the back yard and it has been there ever since. I don’t know much else about it. the tires are of course flat and it isn’t moving without a trailer or a lot of work including an engine. But, it appears to have weathered the years well as far as rust and rot are concerned.

Here your chance to own and drive a well optioned well maintained all original documented Willy’s wagon with history, spending most its life saving the life’s of others.
3rd Owner, the Willy’s came from Colorado, spent most of its life as a search and rescue vehicle in the high Rockys around various ski resorts, was originally purchased in grand junction Colorado. Was last licensed and driven daily in 1994. Having Carburator issues was parked in a garage and sat for next 20 years until came into my Possession. We went through everything getting it top running condition. Surprisingly, for sitting since 1994, it took very little to get it running, carb rebuild and tune up, and new battery.
The only modifications ever made to the vehicle was lifted springs and larger tires, this was necessary for its intended use in with the snow of the Colorado mountains. Has 31” tires not original. But have factory springs.
Also a stereo and electric wipers were added in the 80’s (have the original vacume wiper actuator)
With the exception of tires wheels and stereo, everything remains as it came from the factory in 1961. Vehicle has 105,500 miles, and have documentation of maintenance back to early 70’s when vehicle only had 76,000 miles. And up to last year driven daily in 1994 when it had barley 105k miles, Paint is still original and is in great condition for its age, Has minimal rust, none in floors or rockers like most. Has the original 226 Huricane engine and runs great, rebuilt carburetor and performed maintenance on everything under hood. Runs great and cruises on on highway at 70mph has plenty of power with stock engine.
Has factory drive train, Dana 44 rear with factory gears and locking differential. Gears are 4:27 front axle is factory Dana 25 with factory gears and locking differential. It’s amazing how well this thing performs in stock form off road. Has factory t90 3 speed manual trans and spicer 18 transfer case. Brake have less than 4000 miles on them and stop the vehicle on a dime. All interior is original and shows the wear from its ages rear seats are excellent and all the interior panels are in great condition, the front seats and headliner show there age. The lower cusion of front seats have been covered , with original vinyl still underneath. Head liner is in good shape but stitching at bows have come undone in places, was going to have restitched but didn’t in fear of damaging original headliner any worse than it currently is. Over all condition of this all original 57 year old SUV is amazing. Paint shines, It drives great down road performs buetifully off road, turns heads everywhere we go, and is flat out fun to drive. Not perfect but great shape for being original. Needs nothing to drive, just good owners that appreciate what it is and where it’s been.
Have lot of original parts as well as spare parts, originaly intended to restore this machine, but resisted…..they are only original once. Good running well maintained well optioned wagons with history are more rare than restored wagons.
So we left her as she is.
